UNDP stands for United Nations Development Program. Their goal is to achieve sustainable human development. This is translated through their support for reconstruction in the aftermath of war.They are also involved in humanitarian emergencies, in addition to promoting sound governance and market development. They assist in programs for poverty eradication, employment, sustainable livelihoods, empowering of women, and protection and regeneration of environment.
