Pictured below are Los Altos High School students taking part in the Young Adults'
Concert at the Danzantes Unidos Festival. This year's weekend festival for folklorico
dancers was held at Chabot College in Hayward. Over 1000 dancers from all over California
kicked up their heels while celebrating the Mexican Culture. The students were able to
join the ranks of adult dance groups as they learned new dances and performed for one
another.
 
The young women of Mexico Lindo take a curtain call as they complete
their performance at the Festival. The dancers are enrolled in Carmen Gómez's seventh
period dance class at Los Altos High School.
